Bocado is located in one of the most exclusive areas of Valencia, in the heart of the Alameda, and represents an example of how a targeted and strategic intervention can completely transform the perception of a space.

In this project, the challenge was not to carry out a full refurbishment, but rather a precise and measured action to update the restaurant’s image, enhancing its elegance and sophistication without altering its essence or original finishes. The objective was clear: to enhance the existing through decisive design choices.

The key to the project lies in the choice of materials and lighting. The original black and white tiling was preserved, integrating it into a new, more contemporary visual narrative. The replacement of the old wooden tables with others finished in Calacatta brings immediate brightness to the environment while reinforcing the perception of cleanliness and style.

The most significant intervention takes place at the bar, which is completely clad in the same finish and framed with a warm LED light line, becoming the new visual axis of the venue and adding a subtle glamorous touch.

The space is articulated around a central piece: a main black marble table, which becomes the protagonist thanks to the presence of a carefully selected sculptural lamp that brings hierarchy, character, and an enveloping atmosphere.

Bocado is a demonstration of how interior architecture can transform without demolishing, rethink without erasing, and build identity from the subtle. A project that respects the existing and elevates it through design.
