THE PENTHOUSE THAT FACES THE SUNSET

The project “El Ático que Mira al Atardecer” is located in one of the most emblematic areas of Valencia, where vibrant urban life meets the serenity of panoramic views. This penthouse has been conceived as a contemporary refuge that responds to the needs of a modern family. The client requested a full refurbishment that maximised natural light and connection with the surroundings, taking advantage of the space’s privileged orientation to offer stunning sunset views.

The layout of the penthouse has been designed to be functional and fluid, creating a harmonious transition between the different spaces. Upon entering, there is a spacious living room that opens onto a terrace, making the latter a natural extension of the interior. The open-concept kitchen integrates with the social area, facilitating family interaction. Bedrooms and bathrooms have been strategically organised to ensure privacy and comfort, maintaining the minimalist and contemporary aesthetic that characterises the project. Elements such as the glass railing on the terrace and the large floor-to-ceiling windows are highlighted, allowing light to flood every corner of the dwelling.

In terms of materials, a palette combining elegance and warmth has been chosen. Large-format porcelain flooring in soft tones has been used, amplifying the luminosity of the space. The walls have been coated with white paint, while details in natural wood add warmth and texture. The final atmosphere is welcoming and contemporary, with a carefully selected range of furniture that complements the interior design. Additionally, sustainable technical solutions have been implemented, such as the installation of efficient climate control systems and the incorporation of LED lighting, contributing to a more environmentally friendly home.
