The project RC41, located in a building near Plaza España in Valencia, starts from a floor plan with a complex geometry and dual access, which posed an interesting challenge in terms of distribution. BTTEstudio approached the refurbishment with the aim of clearly organising the day and night areas, creating a smooth transition between the two through a central element: the kitchen.

The kitchen acts as a connecting core, serving as a passage and connection space between the two areas of the dwelling, but also as a key feature within the day area. The living-dining room and kitchen are designed in a spacious, open, and bright area, although with the possibility of independently separating environments thanks to a sliding glass partition, which allows adaptation to different everyday situations without sacrificing visual unity.

The dwelling comprises three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a room converted into a playroom for children, all designed with high-quality materials, functional solutions, and a sober, warm, and contemporary aesthetic. The use of laminated wood flooring throughout the dwelling provides continuity, comfort, and warmth, contrasting with the white walls and discreet internal joinery.

RC41 is an example of how interior architecture can address complex spatial constraints with clear, flexible, and elegant solutions. A project designed for versatile, comfortable, and bright living in the heart of the urban centre.
