LA CASA DE GULLIVER

The intervention transforms an existing apartment into a contemporary, warm and light-filled home, where architecture, interior design and execution are integrated through a coherent material language.

The project is based on a clear premise: to enhance natural light, organise the spaces and create a serene atmosphere through a palette of neutral tones, natural wood, large-format stone and warm indirect lighting. The home is structured around an open living area visually connected to the terrace, incorporating large windows, light curtains and perimeter lighting that reinforces the sense of spaciousness and continuity.

Inside, the kitchen becomes a focal point through the use of a stone with a strong visual presence, combined with white fronts and upper cabinets in wood. The living and dining areas maintain a calmer aesthetic, with natural textiles, softly shaped furniture and ambient lighting designed to create comfort while preserving formal clarity.

The terrace is conceived as a natural extension of the home: a liveable outdoor space with warm flooring, lightweight furniture, greenery and privileged views over the city of Valencia. At dusk, the LED lighting integrated into the railings and openings transforms the space into an intimate and enveloping outdoor room.

The result is a bright, functional Mediterranean home, where every material and construction detail contributes to a balanced, elegant and timeless domestic experience.
