The project for the house MJS8 is located in an urban environment of Valencia, where the need to modernise an existing dwelling was combined with the desire to create a functional and welcoming space for its inhabitants. The client requested a refurbishment that respected the essence of the property while incorporating contemporary elements that would enhance the quality of life within. This comprehensive approach led BTTEstudio to design an environment that balanced comfort and aesthetics, in a context that demands adaptation to new family and social dynamics.

The layout of the dwelling has been optimised to maximise brightness and the connection between different spaces. Upon entering, one perceives a hallway that opens into a spacious living room, where functionality meets warmth. The kitchen, integrated with the dining area, becomes the heart of the home, encouraging family interaction. Intelligent storage areas have been created that not only serve their practical function but also contribute to the overall aesthetics of the design. Elements such as floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to flood the spaces, establishing a continuous dialogue with the outside.

Regarding materials, finishes have been chosen to reflect a palette of neutral colours, combining the warmth of wood with the cleanliness of ceramic and stone surfaces. The light-toned porcelain tile floors visually expand the spaces, while wooden details add a cosy touch. The final atmosphere is serene and contemporary, fostering a perfect environment for daily life. Additionally, technical solutions have been incorporated to enhance the energy efficiency of the dwelling, aligning with current regulations and contributing to a sustainable lifestyle.
